About

Analytics you own, built in the open.

Pug is open-source product analytics with unified profiles. Self-host it under AGPL-3.0 or use the free cloud during open beta — either way, your events stay yours.

What we’re building

Product analytics, without the lock-in

Pug records the events that matter — page views, clicks, scrolls, forms, plus custom events — ties every one to a person, and answers questions with trends, funnels, retention cohorts, segmentation, user flows, and top-K rankings. Open source, and yours to run.

What we believe

Three principles

Own your data

Analytics should belong to the team that collects it. Self-host Pug under AGPL-3.0 and every event stays on your own servers — no third party, no resale, no lock-in.

Open by default

The whole product is open source. Read the code, run it anywhere, and shape it — Pug is AGPL-3.0 on GitHub, not a black box you rent.

Honest by default

Our comparison pages say where competitors are the better choice, and we label what hasn’t shipped yet. We’d rather earn trust than win a checkbox table.

Who’s behind Pug

Built by Tshoka

Pug is built by Tshoka Pvt Ltd, in the open. It’s in open beta today — free to use, free to self-host, and AGPL-3.0 licensed. The fastest way to follow along is GitHub and the docs.

Own your product analytics.
